Hand picked vintage tees get sliced and diced, washed and tossed for a-one-of a kind piece.
Kelly Klein’s recent book POOLS/Reflections caught my eye the other day at a bookshop- the shopkeeper along with a friend and I were musing about the hub-bub over her 1st book, POOLS released in ’92. Mrs. Klein got flack for who knows…being the wife of a gay fashion designer? Using his prominence to advance herself? I think the main crit was over the fact that she merely curated the photos rather than taking them herself. Fast forward. Looks like she set the stage for modern personal branding and advancement. Anywho, her second attempt is divine and the photos are dreamy– a great seasonal coffee table book. Sweet revenge– the 1st edition of POOLS is a highly valued collectible today.
